WA State Supreme Court upholds marriage...

The Washington State Supreme Court voted 5-4 today to uphold the federal Defense of Marriage Act sgned into law by Bill Clinton, stating that marriage exists only between a man and woman. In a liberal state such as our own this is a big win for supporters of traditional marriage and a huge blow to homosexual activists. Remember the crazy group from Westboro Baptist "Church" that pickets soldier's funerals and holds signs saying "God Hates Fags" and "Thank God for Dead Soldiers"? Their behavior and hatred of gays is inexcusable and un-Christian, and this Austrailian reporter went out of his way to put them in the hotseat for once! I couldn't resist, Letterman counted down the Top Ten Favorite George W. Bush Moments and, I'll admit, they are hilarious... many would say indearing.

Stop doing this s**t....

Bush, in a moment of candor, used the word s**t with Tony Blair.

"See, the irony is that what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit," Bush says, "and it's over."

(Gasp!!) He used an expletive? When referring to a murderous, terrorist regime? God forbid!!

Just another example of the "cowboy logic" that has endeared this President in the hearts and minds of many of us.

S**t. A perfect description of the Hezbollah forces and mindset... perfect.

Lewis Black and his protege'...

I got a chance to spend some time with my favorite comedian and the inspiration for my own humor, Lewis Black, on Monday night at a local book signing. He's best know for his "Back in Black" segment on The Daily Show and his costic, angry comedy shows. Lew's had his own HBO special, headlined on Comedy Central twice, starred in several movies, performed on Broadway, is a best-selling author and has been entertaining crowds the world over for 15 years as a stand up comedian. His views on the politics of the day are always entertaining and refreshingly BS-free! Check out all of Lewis' work here:

Everyone should go rent/buy this movie! I saw it for my birthday last February and it immediately became my all-time favorite flick! It's Brosnan at his best as a seedy, paunchy, over-the-hill hitman and the chemistry between him and Greg Kinnear's nervous, apprehensive character is awesome! Check it out!
