Let's learn from the Frogs....

The out-of-control rioting that has enveloped 300 French cities, destroyed millions in property and now claimed a life is just another example of the danger a country puts itself in when it refuses to require it's immigrant population to assimilate. What you are left with is ethnically homogenous enclaves where the slightest bit of racial or religious unrest can turn volatile and deadly.

Take a look at the Los Angeles riots following the Rodney King verdict in the early 1990's for an example: take a poor, crime ridden, predominantly black, area where racial disdain simmers and the banner of racial inequality flies high, add a little race hatred (following the King verdict) and you've got yourself a full-blown riot that claims dozens of lives and destroys millions of dollars in public and private property. The situation in France is no different. The French have for too long ignored the growing numbers of Muslim immigrants that have been pouring into their country to fill the economic void left in the wake of a low national birthrate. Many or most of these immigrants reside in slum-style housing projects similar to those found in places like L.A.'s South-Central and Compton neighborhoods. The French do not demand that these immigrants embrace any semblance of French culture or national pride, instead leaving them to stagnate in their own culturally homogenous regions where disdain for the West and their socially and financially independent French neighbors is given birth. A couple of Muslim teens accidentally electrocute themselves while "hiding from police" near an electrical transformer and anarchy takes hold. What did they expect? You've got areas in France where a the Muslim faith and culture has taken root and taken hold and, in essence, formed it's own "nation" within a nation. The Muslim faith itself openly espouses killing anyone (infidel) who is not of the Muslim faith. And judging from the history of the Middle East, an area that since the beginning of time has been fraught with violence and upheaval meted out between warring factions of Islam, shouldn't the French have known better than to allow mini "Beirut's, Lebanon's, Baghdad's and Meccas" to spring up inside their borders?

When violence breaks out between this unassimilated group and members of the native land, who's fault is it? I would submit that it is the fault first of those involved, obviously, but beyond that, the French government is to blame. With an open-door policy on immigrants from predominantly Muslim countries and a lackadaisical stance on assimilation, it's no wonder at all that this kind of violence has broken out.

And the scary thing is, it could happen just as easily, if not easier, here in America. That's right, within our own borders, thanks to our own lax border control (if you could even call it control) and the rise in importance placed on "multiculturalism," we ourselves have created racially volatile enclaves of ethnically homogenous peoples just as willing and ready to snap given the proper incentive. Don't believe me? Take a look at the American Southwest! Nationwide, Hispanics already outnumber blacks as the second largest ethnic group, behind Caucasian, in the States. There are areas where whites are actually in the minority to Hispanics due to the influx of migrant farm workers and illegal immigrants that we've stood by and allowed for too many years. Parts of the American Southwest are quickly turning into the very thing that has led to the riots in France; unrestricted immigration, unassimilated people with a common goal, with the same language and background and the same distaste for the way their host nation treats them. Now, I am in no way saying that Mexican immigrants or Hispanic peoples are volatile or dangerous, in and of themselves. However, any group of people, ethnically similar or not, when rallied around a common goal or ideology, can turn dangerous. Look at Germany during WWII. Are the German people dangerous people to be around? No. Are they predisposed to war? Ask the French and the answer would be yes, but otherwise, no. Are they complacent when it comes to the slaughter of millions of Jews and other "undesireables?" No. But rallied around a powerful leader, given the proper mind set and Nazi Germany was a force to be reckoned with, one of the fiercest enemies to the free world we've ever seen and responsible for the murder of millions.

A far-fetched comparison? Maybe, but poignant nonetheless. Stay with me. There lurks within our border not only people who would like to see our government torn down (anarchists), people killed and property destroyed (terrorists), but also groups that would like to see portions of our country seceded back to foreign, namely Mexican, control. Groups like M.E.C.H.A. and La Raza champion the reconquista of the American Southwest and call for the overthrow of American control of these "formerly Mexican" land masses. They rally around the idea of the superiority of the Race, la Raza (sound familiar - circa 1937?) and would like nothing more than for New Mexico, Arizona and parts of Texas, Utah, Nevada and California to be annexed BACK to Mexican control. They push for open borders and "fair" (interpret - special) treatment for migrant workers, support the refusal of Western and American culture and cling to their native language, attempting to force us to change our lives to fit their non-English-speaking needs.

Bottom line. All it would take is for some of these radicals to ignite the fires of racial hatred and inequality and pretty soon we're looking at riots in 300 of our towns, death and destruction.

Then why has this not happened already, you ask? After all blacks have been the predominant minority in this country for years and aren't they too capable of this kind of activity? Yes, and again I'd have you look at what happened in L.A. in 1991. But the difference between the black population and the Hispanic-immigrant population is this; predominantly throughout the years, blacks have been interested in assimilating. They just wanted to be free and equal to enjoy the American way of life - work, family, sports, customs and religion without prejudice. Most of them don't hail directly from Africa and are native-born African-Americans whose families have been here for generations and who identify themselves as Americans. Now contrast that with the Mexican immigrant; they break our laws to get here, work illegally while they are here, refuse to (and are not required too) learn our language, live in regions that are not racially or ethnically diverse and claim allegiance only to Mexico. Sounds like a powder-keg to me.

What can we as Americans do to keep the rioting we see in France from happening here? The first thing is to demand control of our borders. France is lax on their own but even they have got better border control then we do. So first stop the flood of illegals coming here to take advantage of our financial system and give nothing back. Second, demand that those who do choose to make the US their permanent home use our language, accept a certain amount of our culture our laws, system of government and way of life. They obviously came here for a reason, help them appreciate our distinctly American way of life and stop pandering to the "multicultural" pinheads who only want to keep immigrants at a disadvantage for their own personal gain by providing everything in their native tongue and allowing them to fester in their own ethnically homogenous regions while preaching the superiority of their own native culture over that in the US. And thirdly, show groups like M.E.C.H.A. and La Raza, who hide their own dastardly plans to reconquer parts of our country under the guise of care and concern for immigrants, for what they truly are; racist hate groups no different that a white-supremacist and with the same ideological poison of superiority, who keep their followers subservient by refusing to let them (or their neighbors and countrymen) develop a healthy and happy life as a true American.
